So let us say we are 2 different people. How we perceive others and how we would like to be perceived. I am perfectly fine staying in on a Sunday watching TV, eating a few bowls of cereal, while mindlessly scrolling through Instagram for a laugh or 2. I don’t because I have to run every morning with my dog because she is a spaz ball of energy. After the exertion I feel the need to be productive. So I am essentially 2 people. Before the run I am a piece of shit on the couch. Then after the run I am bed made, clean clothes, ready for business type and on the computer or running errands. I think it is important for us to be able to distinguish ourselves and really set a parameter for what gets us going in the morning. For some it is coffee. I have met women who you have to hand a cup of coffee to with a 10 foot pole so you wouldn’t have your arm ripped off if you woke her up too early and she didn’t have coffee in sight. Or just the silent zombie meandering from one room to the other until the first cup has been processed in the stomach. So what is your switch? Is it exercise? Is it coffee, shower, sex, slap your partners ass in the morning, yoga, jerk off, or the classic scream in a pillow? Whatever gets you to start your day, or if you don’t have one then find something that really gets you ready to take on every morning. These kinds of things are just as important as knowing things about yourself. Favorite food, color, shape, sex position, but that is another blog as well. Just know to have a morning of your own is very powerful in a sense that it defines you as an individual and how others perceive you. So choose how you want to be perceived from the moment you wake up to the second you go to bed, and if you snore, hog the blankets, or drool, well some things are just not in our control. Knowing these things aids in being confident in who you are around other people. You know who you are when you wake up and when you go to bed, so don’t let anyone else have control over telling you.
