Just a reminder that the war in Ukraine is a distraction for something you’re going to be upset about later. Is it worth your time, probably not. Will voting in the next election solve your problem, probably not. More than likely you will focus on this topic for the next year and still be no closer to any of your own goals and be bitching about how a war that is thousands of miles away is keeping you from succeeding when all you have to do is change the channel, or better yet turn off the tv. This is probably the 50th time just in the last 3 years that the news has been able to distract others by pushing their narrative on what they deem important. What is important is what gets ratings. Also I am fully aware that people have the choice to watch the news as they please and as much as they please. My issue always comes from what is portrayed in people’s reactions to things. You can have one conversation with someone and tell whether it is CNN, or Fox News they watch. Then you have the ever so intelligent bunch who think they have it all figured out and watch both. Still screaming at the television while eating dinner. They continually will alert the public about a break in or stabbing that happened between 10 min to 5 hours away and say “what a tragedy?” Tragedy is what sells, so it is as if people are on repeat in their own homes. This is not me trying to convince anyone of anything, which way to lean, what to believe, this is me telling myself these are things I cannot control so why waste my time. Talk about these things all you like. My opinion as well as yours is all we have so why not utilize that energy towards something that may help you in your personal endeavors. Bangov Actual, out.
