When you don’t know which way to go. Left or right. You’re at a fork in the road and everything is telling you which way to go. Also for you political nerds I don’t mean leftist so shut it. Just you, as a person, left could be a new job, right could be a business you’re scared to start. When you are there and you are done weighing the options. You’ve assessed every little detail. Everyone in your family is ok with it. The world is saying they won’t hate you whatever you choose, which is just insane to me when people make life decisions they care about what other people think outside of their own family. They need the world’s approval for some reason, just so they don’t have a hint of feeling like they are a bad person, or are being selfish. Selfish is defined as: lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one’s own personal profit or pleasure. Now OF COURSE some of you Karen’s of the world will tell me, you should never be selfish EVER. That’s why you’re Karen though. You bitch about anything you think you can control just to get a sense of control in your own life. You have no consideration for anyone but how you feel about every situation. Go back and read my life is one big contradiction blog and shut your face. To be selfish for your own gain if worded that way can seem mean or cruel. If you do it for your own families well being then it is the greatest feeling in the world to tell a Karen to go fuck herself because you’re not trying to get her approval in life. Just send her off in a sea of loneliness so she and her thoughts can scream themselves allllll the way into a padded room with white walls. So do you go left? Or do you go right? Does it really matter? Also why is it that people think they only have one choice in life. That blows my mind to think I have to do this, or I only am able to do this. Some people are very good at one thing and that is all they have ever tried to perfect. They are so good at 1 thing they think the amount of time and effort needs to be doubled in order to do amazing work somewhere else. If they are 25 then they think they will be fifty if they go left or right. You’re more capable of diverse skills than you think. Just go left or right. Beats staying in the fork.
