Define Your Morning

So let us say we are 2 different people. How we perceive others and how we would like to be perceived. I am perfectly fine staying in on a Sunday watching TV, eating a few bowls of cereal, while mindlessly scrolling through Instagram for a laugh or 2. I don’t because I have to run every morning with my dog because she is a spaz ball of energy. After the exertion I feel the need to be productive. So I am essentially 2 people. Before the run I am a piece of shit on the couch. Then after the run I am bed made, clean clothes, ready for business type and on the computer or running errands. I think it is important for us to be able to distinguish ourselves and really set a parameter for what gets us going in the morning. For some it is coffee. I have met women who you have to hand a cup of coffee to with a 10 foot pole so you wouldn’t have your arm ripped off if you woke her up too early and she didn’t have coffee in sight. Or just the silent zombie meandering from one room to the other until the first cup has been processed in the stomach. So what is your switch? Is it exercise?  Is it coffee, shower, sex, slap your partners ass in the morning, yoga, jerk off, or the classic scream in a pillow? Whatever gets you to start your day, or if you don’t have one then find something that really gets you ready to take on every morning. These kinds of things are just as important as knowing things about yourself. Favorite food, color, shape, sex position, but that is another blog as well. Just know to have a morning of your own is very powerful in a sense that it defines you as an individual and how others perceive you. So choose how you want to be perceived from the moment you wake up to the second you go to bed, and if you snore, hog the blankets, or drool, well some things are just not in our control. Knowing these things aids in being confident in who you are around other people. You know who you are when you wake up and when you go to bed, so don’t let anyone else have control over telling you. Bangov Actual, out.

Make These 4 Routine

Someone much wiser than I who had way more experience than I in the marketing field had told me some quick tips which is what I would like to share with you.

  1. Be Specific in Goals
  2. Put a date
  3. Tell People about it
  4. Align every decision behind the first 3

These I could argue are some of the most important things to do when thinking or even putting into action a life pursuit for oneself. First we look at being specific in goals, because they really define what your product or service is about. Just like dating you want to know what the intentions of the other person are as to not waste each others time, or even as a start up you may only have 1 or 2 services to provide such as cutting grass or trimming hedges. Only 2 services but as you build you can expand your services and offer more avenues for a variety of customers.

Put a date, which can really give you the timestamp for you to get your ass moving and keep you accountable. It is really hard at first when you are the boss to set your own timelines. If they are not met for some reason, you have nobody to blame other than yourself. Set a date and treat it as you need to turn in a final paper, or finish a power point to present to your boss. Work all night if you have to but make that fucking deadline, I don’t care if you’re tired.

Telling people of your ideas really is an emotional fortitude to get others excited about what you may tend to create. Whether it be merchandise or even a service that your friends and family might want to try, or wear, or smoke, Whatever!!! Telling the world as well creates the incentive “oh shit I told everyone I was going to do this, now if I don’t they will know I failed.” Yes ladies and gentleman this is a good thing to keep yourself accountable as well get others excited about what you’re doing.

Finally do whatever is necessary in order to make this a reality. This is your pursuit and your happiness you are working on. I have missed, weddings, birthdays, nights out drinking, said no to long term relationships with amazing women because a part of me has been dying inside and every decision that I make in order to push towards my pursuits is where I can help those reading this with theirs. Actions speak louder than words, so put into actions not only in your product or service but into your daily lives in order to set your self up for success. Drinking and partying will not get you there unless that is your business model, so align your decisions in order to make this transition easier on you. What will be hard is doing it every day after motivation has turned off and you realize the real work begins.
