What is your Drug of Choice????

The way the world is going today for some is amazing. You’re doing great at work, relationships, kids, and just all around the world is a beautiful place. These are moments that I wish could be held on to forever. Problem is, there is always an entity coming for you and what you have. We have many of us that are willing to be warriors. This being a military veteran website, I’m sure I’ll have a few nodding their heads, but as you all will know by now, if you have been reading along with my blogs. Purpose is the soul drive of all human beings. Whether it be a woman bearing a child. Or a man, going off to war.

To get back to the basics, men provide, hunt, while women nurture and tend to the needs of children. Basic instincts of survival come down to what we accept as individuals and our biological needs. Still, food, water, shelter. Beyond that is a purpose, a will to continue. A will to get up at the crack of dawn and see that your accomplishments have to do with getting your ass out of bed and doing what you may sometimes tell yourself that you don’t want to.

It is hard for me to not have a purpose. I have felt these effects before. They led me to drink, party, women, and do whatever was necessary to fill the void of not having a purpose. It is a scary place to be that paints a picture of you locked in a car going 100 mph, blind folded and someone else has their hands on the steering wheel. Purpose is the life source that we all need. We can’t all just go around smashing windows and destroying businesses to feel a part of something. We must be smarter as a community.

I am not saying this is for everyone. If you are 120 lbs, suffer from low blood sugar, or just in poor general health, please consult a doctor before thinking of Intermittent fasting. I would encourage those who are hungry for a better purpose to look into the studies of fasting and how it may help you. People tend to overlook how their diet can change their perspective. It is easier for people to think a trip to Hawaii will give them a new outlook on life. Most of what we need to battle is within ourselves. Best thing about this is it is free to try. No prescriptions, no monthly subscriptions. Just the desire to make yourself better through self-discipline practice. 

In all my life I have never seen a force more powerful for destroying an individual’s self-worth or motivation to bring themselves to a better standard of living than the urges or addictions they have within. Could be drinking, drugs, or even just food. Substance abuse comes to mind, but substance is defined as: a particular kind of matter with uniform properties. So literally could be anything. Substance abuse as it is catered to drugs and alcohol. Substance abuse is defined as: Uncontrolled use of alcohol, illegal drugs or prescribed drugs that affects normal daily life.

If it can be anything, why don’t we practice discipline on things that are also harmful, like cake and cookies. Or spending? You have to start somewhere in order to know what it feels like to have a craving for something urging you to eat something you know you should not have or at least you are trying to say no to for a day or 2. What? You don’t think cookies can be harmful. I don’t mean a tummy ache either. Article from addictionresource.com states “Yes, sugar can be as addictive as drugs and alcohol and is very difficult to avoid due to its presence and addition to many food items. Consuming, or even just thinking about it, can stimulate the brain and release dopamine into the system.” In a 1999 interview with Eric Clapton told the reporter that sugar, from the time he was 5 years old, would cram sugar down his throat as fast as he could. He became addicted to sugar because it changed the way he felt leading him try harder substances like heroin.

This is why I would like to encourage people to stop sugar as much as possible. NOT ALL, but in the same article you will find “Our daily intake of sugar averages 95 grams, which might not sound like a lot, but that adds up to about 77 pounds per year. The American heart association recommends reducing its intake to, at most, half of one’s daily calorie consumption.” Fasting may just be a way in order to give you that whole new perspective in how you feel. Try it out for a few days. You will drive companies’ crazy considering they can’t make any money off of you.

This is all coming back to purpose, you really have to create a world where you don’t give into these sorts of addictive qualities of yourself. Social media, thinking it will make you happy. You want more dopamine from people’s lives on Instagram and Tik Tok when you have no idea if they are miserable and what they are doing is their spoonful of sugar they get high on. Then when not on camera they are miserable. Shopping can also be an addiction and with how much people piss away money nowadays, just seems to be a reoccurring theme that people don’t know how to fight against their addictions. Find your discipline, you may just find out what you’re really hungry for. Bangov Actual out.

ATT outage, China?

China is the enemy. Relax, they know. When the FBI Director Christopher Wray tells a congressional committee, “China’s multi prong assault on our national and economic security make it the defining threat of our generation.” Things tend to get a little more serious. The link for this quote is in the video provided in the article. It is only 2 min and 14 seconds long so don’t worry about your attention span going haywire. 

For those of you Following the AT&T outage, some are speculating that it was a cyber-attack by China while the company itself is utilizing the FCC, (Federal Communications Commission) as well other federal agencies to investigate the likely cause of the event. “Although Verizon and T-Mobile customers reported some network outages, too, they appeared far less widespread.” 74,000 total reported outages, and as the day went on the number of outages trickled down as well.

AT&T does a great job at covering their tracks with statements like “Based on our initial review, we believe that today’s outage was caused by the application and execution of an incorrect process used as we were expanding our network, not a cyber-attack,” AT&T said in a statement on its website. As well in a CNN article, AT&T explains that other possibilities are a faulty software update. With The FCC still investigating and commenting that local governments report outages. This is basically a way to give those who are too afraid of it being a cyber-attack an outlet, so they feel safe and don’t have to deal with the horrors of losing their Tik Tok, and deal with real world problems. 

When an FBI director goes before a congressional committee and is warning the American people that a PRC state sponsored hacking group known as Volt Typhoon, is hacking 100’s of routers in order to conduct reconnaissance on US critical infrastructures. Just seems like China would be gearing up for something. I am no conspiracy nut here; I just look at facts all day and maybe the conclusions come out of them. Figure it out for yourself. Or if you’re more comfortable with it just being a software update issue then that is ok too. 

Erik Prince, the former blackwater CEO states in a GBN article “take Taiwan in spring 2024.” He goes into explaining that this is due to the climate of Taiwan being other times of the year are too windy. This as well was after initial reports that “Chinese President Xi Jinping reportedly told President Joe Biden during their recent summit that Beijing will reunify Taiwan with mainland China.” Taiwan is not really known for the size and strength for their military capabilities so America’s intervention would be necessary in order for Taiwan to have a fighting chance.

When all of these things come to light at once, the picture becomes clearer than mud(sarcasm.) Of course, I am sure the software update issue has been fixed and the FCC doesn’t need to look any further (sarcasm.) Let’s just say for shits and giggles that I was to go as far back as April 2023, to an article titled What it will look like if China launches cyberattacks in the U.S. Military transport networks, energy, water, and even business and financial markets are all looked at. “If China invades Taiwan, they say, it is likely to unleash a volley of digital strikes against the United States at the same time.” stated in the same Politico article. As much as I would like to not see our men and women sent to fight in a capacity that is for another country’s preservation. The United States has a history of getting into conflicts that will be advertised as a fight for American democracy.

Taxation, Legalized Theft

Ahh inflation, just one of those things that tends to be overlooked when spending money that is not yours taken from people by force. Ask anyone, if they were able to decide on whether they could pay a tax on their grocery bill, water bill, at the gas pump, barbershop, candy store, let’s just speed this up and say the mall. Everything we purchase has a tax. Why? Welp, ask the government, they will tell you because the business that made your burrito is in America. Therefore, it needs to be taxed in order for you to enjoy it. 

This day and age you may not remember a little event that occurred December 16th, 1773. Little Party known as the Boston Tea Party. Not really a party, more like 100 dudes throwing 90,000 pounds of tea that was imported by the British East India Company overboard in Boston Massachusetts. What is even more fun to note is that all this happened because of the debt hanging over the British Parliament based on previous wars that were fought. So, taxes were imposed, not just a single tax either, many of them over goods or services including business licenses, which in the BanGov world is a huge NO NO FUCK NO, not today, Satan. Of course, in today’s age of course we are run right over with taxation of everything 5 times over. If you purchase bubble gum with the money that was taxed in order for you to pay for that bubble gum, on your receipt you paid a tax to purchase it. Of course, we all forget the manufacturer who was taxed for the materials in order to make the bubble gum. Processing, shipping, and distribution taxes……you get the point, but some don’t.

Asking the internet 2 questions always makes me smile. It almost feels like the government is putting me on a list as soon as I hit the enter button. First is, why do we pay taxes? Which is a legitimate question, and I know people who would scoff at the question. To think it is a ridiculous question to ask where my money goes. What is worse is they say it is not your money. The delusion that the government will take care of us. The delusion that “the government will pay for it.” Where do they think this money comes from? Printing more money that is not even a dollar amount that people have in banks. So, it is all a delusion that amounts to more and more inflation. If you’re not aware of what inflation is, I’ve explained it to a child before and I said to imagine wanting a toy in a toy store. Imagine that toy is 25 dollars. Imagine working for however long it takes to make 25 dollars. Then come back to that toy store to find out the toy is now 30 dollars. Inflation is never being able to afford what you used to in what others would call the “old days.” Pretty much just meant when inflation was not as much.

Why do we pay taxes? According to Business Insider, the law obliges us to pay taxes, which in turn provide everything from health care and Social Security to education and defense. Oblige is defined as: make (someone) legally or morally bound to an action or course of action. I’m obliged to pay taxes, or I will pay a fine up to a point where the government wants to put me in jail. Health care in my opinion would be far more affordable if left up to the open market. I have covered why non-profit organizations would be better off without government fundings due to the article given here. Social Security, education and defense are all in the shitter due to taxes and what we incentivize. Nothing but welfare states giving money away to those who refuse to work. Illegal immigration which I will cover in a later blog, giving money to those who just got here. You made it here, that doesn’t mean you get to just exist like other slob Americans who feel they deserve things they have never earned. What should really irritate Americans is that republicans think that they can fix the public school system. Just another political stunt for them to run on. Fixing a school system that they have watched go down the toilet. It is almost like they watch it fail like a stock in order to get it when it is cheap and easy to say it is broken and needs to be fixed. 

“Taxes help build the nation and contribute to welfare schemes.” Welp considering our national debt and endless spending in order to help other countries fight wars. Afghanistan and Iraq seemed like a huge success to me(sarcasm.) No that is not a shot at our US military for those idiots who forgot this is a veteran owned and operated website. Stay focused, quit looking for baited questions to ask. Scheme is defined as: a large-scale systematic plan or arrangement for attaining a particular object or putting a particular idea into effect. This being said, most government reasoning for paying taxes are schemes. Ponzi Scheme is defined as: a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors. Is everyone following? Does this seem more like the government we all know and despise? It is corruption(government) at its finest. Corrupt is defined as: having or showing a willingness to act dishonestly in return for money or personal gain. 

When I ask why we pay taxes, these are all answers that people usually can come up with. One that I have not mentioned is that “if you want to keep living here then you have to pay taxes.” The United States was founded on a war starting with the rebellion of taxes without representation? Not saying to start a war, but I will go dump a shit ton of Green Tea in the bay if necessary.

Second question is always a showstopper at a bar. What if I stop paying taxes? What if at a store the price I see is the price I am paying. No tax on top of it. That coffee is 4.50. I am pulling out 4.50 and walking out. According to US News, Americans owed at least 114 billion (Nice) in back taxes, penalties and interest in 2020. Also states that fines for not filing are more severe than not paying. To get the gist, you will be liable for all debts to be paid. If not, wages can be garnished, or even your home has a lien put on it if you owe more than $10,000. This being said, the money that you go to work for everyday, is taken from you by force, distributed without your knowledge to various countries that you may have no interest in, and the person that does this may be someone you did not even vote for. Well if that was not worth a war then, not really sure what Americans will fight for nowadays.

Biden, “elderly man with poor memory”

Makes sense that the one guy to have the balls to stand up to the federal government is in a wheelchair. Gov. Gregg Abbot teaches America how to be Americans by actually putting foot to the ass for his state and telling the so-called “Leader of the Free World” to suck his handlebars. Not really sure if Biden knows what is going on or even where he is for that matter. Considering Robert Hur wrote in the special report “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during the interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.” (Link here to read full report.) page.6 second paragraph.

With all that being said I’m sure America sleeps like babies knowing the so-called “leader” elected to support and defend the constitution of the United States of America, against all enemies foreign and domestic. Belongs in a home and isn’t even sound of mind enough to be prosecuted in a court of law.

I guess it is only fair considering Donald Trump is fighting 4 criminal cases. Washington DC faces 4 felony counts, Georgia 13 felony counts, New York 34 felony counts, and Florida 40 federal counts. I’m sure that is not all. I will link to this Politico article, but the best part about it is in the end where it states if he is elected President, he could pardon himself of all felony charges. If you don’t think I was not pissing my pants after I read that. 

So, I guess this is a pretty even battle for both of them considering neither one of them can be convicted of any crime. Trump for not actually breaking the law, and Biden not being able to remember who he is and them not wanting him to shit his pants while on the stand.

Something that did make me chuckle was people telling me they are Republicans that would be voting on Democratic ballots in order to keep Joe Biden from being able to run. Kind of makes you think of the confidence that people have in the voting system that they are willing to vote against their own party just to make sure a man who is our President currently does not have a chance to get in because they don’t even care much for the Republican candidates. They are not big Trump fans either. I’m not going to tell people who have already made up their mind who to vote for. I might as well try and convince an army of trans people they are dudes. It’s just a losing battle.

Gov. Gregg Abbot shows America a pretty wonderful thing that as our “Leaders” of this country are either suffering from dementia or defamation, states still possess the courage to stand up to corruption(government.) Also, as truckers band together to boycott New York City in times where politics are being used to push a narrative on a man they can’t convict. Ordinary citizens banded together can still strike fear into the hearts of those elected without violence, but by simply using capitalism as a means of power that can be taken away from even the highest of authority. Remember people, the things we may come to believe as evil, such as guns, capitalism, media, or even the border, also are utilized every day for good. Just depends on who holds the tools. Dana White, A Family Man of Business

Dana White is my annual BAMF, (Bad Ass Mother Fucker). I like to keep up with an annual BAMF based on the times we are living in and what big moves they make in their career. Dana White, Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, just all the greats we know and love. If you are not a fan of Dana White, I highly encourage you to go and see the short documentary he is in. A short documentary of the UFC, YouTube channel Patrick Gavia did an excellent job on the story America’s Most Savage CEO.

I am a huge fan of billionaires going around laws and making things like the UFC as great as it is. This guy went to foreign countries to make the UFC what it is today. I am so done with all the other sports. Let’s see a fight. Just the way nature intended, this guy against another dude who has the balls to get into a ring. Why the fuck would I care about someone putting a ball to one side of a court or field to be put in a net or on a patch of grass. I just watched Gladiator again this week and was like, “oh ya, we used to do that shit.” Even better now though, everyone lives, everyone gets to go home. Little bruised, nobody dies, ok maybe a few times that happened, but not nearly as often and nobody sends lions when the fighters get tired. All in all, still pretty damn good entertainment.

In an interview with Theo Von, Dana White illustrates how he can say “go fuck yourself” (34:58) to one of his sponsorships who became politically inclined to tell the UFC President that he needed to take down a personal post about the former president Donald Trump. I’m sure the jackass sponsor guy thought Dana would just willingly comply with this ridiculous request. Well, guess he found out that Dana was not someone to be pushed around. Dana White has expressed numerous times about what kind of business he runs. They are a family; these are people that Dana has known for upwards of 20 years according to him. I would not be surprised if a part of his own family were to receive financial threats due to empty threats of not being sponsored by people who are as careless to think of him as a weak person or who treats his employees as family would not go scorched earth.

That being said, this is a company that has succeeded through covid as well climbed to new heights during very difficult times. Great points that Dana has made as well from a business perspective is that you must have people you can rely on. As well while asking Theo Von “would this work without them?” pointing to this staff off camera, Von replying “no ” just verifies Dana White’s mentality on the importance of the people around you. 

I do wish people would understand the importance as so many successful people have, that the people around you are either pushing you forward or holding you back. Be with people that believe in the same mission as you. Hardest part is finding the right mission for you. If you’re a shit musician but you keep going down that path, then you are wasting your time. No matter how much you believe in it. You have to be realistic in your approach to life. Jordan Peterson so eloquently says but I am not quoting, to go about an aim. First aim high, but make sure you know the steps in order to reach the end goal. I’m paraphrasing but, I will link here so you can interpret it for yourself. If I was to teach, I would say if you were to shoot a basketball, why start from half court when you should start with lay ups then work your way back. Or if you aim to win the homerun derby, but have never hit a baseball before, you see where I am going with this. As much as I may shit on other sports, they make great analogies and it’s all beers and hot dogs anyway so who gives a shit. Bangov Actual, out.

Credit Card Gun Registry….Can’t make this up

The most beautiful thing about seeing that credit card companies are going to be tracking gun and ammo purchases is that cash may have some relevance in your life again. This may be a reason for people to start using credit cards for what they were supposed to be intended for. Getting all the benefits out of them without being in debt for years and years paying the balance monthly minimum. I’ve seen my fair share of YouTube videos when asking millionaires about if they have credit cards. A large majority laugh at the fact that people have so many credit cards. 

Credit cards are not how you make money. Being able to pay for most of the things you “need” (key word here) is paying for it when you can actually afford it. If you need something new, and you have to pay for it with a credit card, you probably can’t afford it. Of course, life happens, but the truth of it is that you should be saving. You should be more aggressive in harboring your money and not spending it on things you have no business buying while you are broke.

That is just a rant, but it is your money, so I am not going to tell you anything else except if all you’re looking to do is get frequent flier miles then pay off your credit card. If you aim to make a 2000 dollar purchase just to get the miles for flying Delta, then you better have that in the bank in order to pay off the credit card next month. Paying off debt is slow and is really hard unless you’re willing to have a side hustle or another job that is going to be dedicated to paying off that debt. Either way you are going to suffer. 

Now with all that being said. If trying to improve your credit score for a future home buy, or vehicle purchase, then understand that your gas bill is about all you need in order to boost your credit score over the next few months. Don’t think you need to spend thousands to go into debt to get the score up. Remember credit card companies want low risk users, so don’t think the more you’re spending the more they will reward you. OK OK fine I know I’ll shut the fuck up about, JUST DON’T DO IT. Cut the fucking thing in half if you can’t help yourself. 

Gun purchases can be bought with cash if you were not aware. Here in Arizona, you are not required to have a background check if you have a concealed carry permit already. You’ve already gone through the bullshit in order to get yourself validated by idiots who know nothing about guns in order to go into a store and purchase a gun. So, using cash to make your entire intended purchase of guns and ammo is what is suggested if you’re not comfortable with credit card companies giving this information to anyone else. 

According to Forbes, they intend to track “suspicious” gun purchases. Problem nowadays is that anything over 500 rounds and more than 1 gun is considered suspicious. What they fail to realize is that anything less than 500 rounds of ammunition purchase is more expensive when you don’t buy in bulk. This is why you will see as much as 5000 rounds of ammunition purchased of 22LR. If you don’t know what 22LR this is then again, the problem, people who don’t know anything about guns making laws about things they do not understand but I digress; intended purchases are to be made as well peer-peer as is also legal here in the state of Arizona as well.

Reading thegunzone.com 40 states allow the salesmanship of private gun ownership from person to person, but in doing this I still always advocate for the person selling to have a copy of just the person’s name and bill of sale stating you sold it to the individual in case it is used in a crime. Of course, this I am sure will piss off gun control advocates, but what else is new. Support your local gun shop and buy with cash. Bangov Actual, out.

Government Grants For Non-Profit, The Wolf In Sheeps Clothing

Had a lovely conversation with an older lady recently. Her stance was that if we did not have a government and people paid less in taxes then we would not have the infrastructure that we would have. More people would suffer due to less tax dollars being funneled into programs for those in need. As well her background is finance for a nonprofit. So of course, she may be a little biased in her stance, as well she stated to me that she makes 130k annually. My question for these people who “believe in the cause” as she put it to me. Well, my question to her and all those who work for these types of programs is, would you still believe in the cause if you were making half of your income. If they say yes, they are lying to you. If they say no, they might even still be lying to you. I’ll bet you they would be happy making 300k a year even if it meant that 2-3 less people could be paid to spend the night or get a chance at a soup kitchen. 

Donorbox.org does a wonderful job addressing the ways that nonprofits get money for their cause. From branded donation pages, hosting events, applying for grants, and even membership donations. All of this sounds like a lot but when you break it down the top 3 ways that nonprofits get money is through donations, providing a service or entertainment that is hosted, and government funding, or grants. 

According to the nonprofitimes.com 80 cents for every dollar comes from government funding. According to ash.harvard.edu an article I highly advise people who read who give a shit. Government funds may represent critical sources of revenue in health and human services, peoples concern is the over progressive bureaucratization of nonprofits, meaning more worried about people’s gender identity than actually helping those who are in need. Government funding comes with increased oversight, higher administrative costs, as well as administrative efficiencies because you should be aware by now that just because you get a grant, does not mean the government will not get it back in some way. As well everything the government touches will inevitably turn to shit. It is not your money; it is loaned to you with a specific intent. Does not matter if you receive the money, the government will get it out of its citizens when it is funneled back into the system through taxes on your food, and whatever you pay for in your daily lives. 

Finally, nonprofittimes.com again graces us with a beautiful article about 80% of nonprofits accepting government funding. So, as the average American, why would I donate to an organization that my tax dollars are already going to? The point of this blog is to have other people ask themselves why I don’t get to choose where my money goes? No research doesn’t even know what they are supporting. What if I don’t support your cause or how you go about your business? It Doesn’t matter, the government decides what we spend our money on. They will tax you to the bitter end on what they think is in their best interest as another reason to higher taxes for you. I encourage people to look up a charity that they would like to donate to that does not take taxpayer money and learn about their efficiencies and how they are able to help others.
